Prefects Recruits Day!!!

On 28 April... Just one week after Prefects Investiture. We planned for the Prefects Recruit Day when all the new prefects come together and played games and know each other. 1st, we introduced ourselves to them. Then it's ICE-BREAKER games. They introduced themselves. But they could not play wacko cos lack of time. So we moved on to a very fun games. Its call PAC-MAN. A team of 5 will tie their legs together and had to walk around the school to find different coloured balls. Each coloured balls will represent some points. The Recruits had team work and managed to find some balls... Lastly they sat together and open the crushed colour papers and answered the qns there. Those qns are related to prefects. So, at the same time, they learnt some rules abt prefects. Here are some pictures when they were playing the PAC- MAN

Prefects Investiture was held on 21 April this year, 2009. It's the 14th Prefects Investiture in Bukit Batok Secondary School. Hooray... We, the top 7 planned for this special event... Im the Excutive committee Member Finance... taking care of all the budget and so on...

Anyway... I was quite unhappy and disappointed on that day... WHY? coz there was suppose to be a video clips on Prefects. I did it on my own and i spent lots of time on the video!!! And you know what! the projector screen just not working 5 mins before the event start!!! It pissing me off!!! So... the video is cancel... I am very very super disappointed!!! ='(
So... I will post the video for you all to see... Hope you like it.
(NOTE: The sound of the video is not very good. cos that time when i was using window movie maker, the sound cant be play. So i record the music from my handphone.. so the sound isnt very good... Anyway ENJOY =D)

BBSS X-country

Today, 12 March '09 is the BBSS X-country. This is the second time my school host this event. Today cross country is fun and I enjoy alot. I get 17th position for today race. Even though I didnt manage to get a prize, i still enjoy myself alot. There are beautiful sceneries around while running and it is better running in japanese garden. I hope that you have enjoy ur X-country. Now I hope that there will be the next BBSS' X-country next year...

Secondary 1 Orientation

Well... i was an OGL (Orientation Group Leader) and we organise games, cheers etc for the sec1. We manage to run the whole orientation well because for the help of the facilators form Cheers Connect. I have to thank ethen and Keadon for their help, if not,we wont be able to run the orientation well. And i really enjoy myself in this orientation, I make more new friends, learn how to run a event well.

Wats Ogl mean? It mean Orientation Grp Leaders. Why is it so gd. Cos we manage to think of diff games for the sec 1!!! there are even crazy games!!! U wont wan to play those game. It will make u go INSANE!!! Anyway, We think of games and cheers for the sec 1. It was so fun!!! We even have campfire for the Sec1. We even have 2 OGL t-shirt and we make 1 for the sec1 !!! Well... we manage to escape form any course for the sec 3. haha :P But i will miss a dragon boat event which the sec 3 will have. Its going to be so fun. I dont like sch reopne but i LOVE the time when we be the OGLs!!! I cant w8 for that day to come. It will be an unforgetable and exciting events!!!

So FAST!!! Its going to be end of school holiday... Have to be ready for school... How i wish this holiday can last longer. Anyway, we have to be ready for school. Teachers' Day Celebration!!!

Yesterday, on 29th August 2008, our sch got teachers' day celebration. And I perform!!! The secondary one and two prefects perform for teachers' Day. We perform dance and skit. The dance is from the dance the sec 2 prefectrs learnt from the LINE camp at Jurong JC. It was so fun. We been practising from June holiday. At the UPPER sec performance, there is no music for our dance as there is stgh wrong with the system. So we dance with the music in my handphone. So pai Se... But the lower sec performnace. It was so fun. Everyting went so smoothly. With all the cheering, We feel so happy and hyper:) Now its over:( I really miss the fun we have. I still remeber we keep gossiping on one day of the practice. I miss the 'Smile' of Freddie. haha. I miss the joke they give. Hope we can be together again

Not only the performance, We have a committe who help the celebration. Now, Its over. And i miss the committe. Miss the fun we have. Remember the joke, fun and laughter we all have duiring the meeting.

But... now... I can concentrate on my studies:) YAY!!! hope that i can have fun after SA2.

My common test

*sigh... My common test... I could say that this common test is the worse exams ever in my secondary school! I get really bad results for science. My phyics failed. My class test and my common test failed! Luckily my chemistry is strong enough to pass my science. I really need to focus on Physics!!! I must get better results. My results in my physics have lower the chance of me goign to triple science class which i hope to go to. I have to score well in science. Other than science, my english will always around the same results. I really hope i can really get B or english which i believe i never get B before in secondary. My CL dropped and really need to improve. My maths improve. It might be the reason of no ALGRBRA!!! I am quite weak at Algebra... My geography... Okay la... My art... around the same results... My D & T... Around same results too. My Lit improve :) I really need to revise more. And I must learn how to cope with studies. Cos this yr was so busy doing sth. Next yr, there will be lots more things to do and i have to ope with my studies. Goign triple science was a difficult choice for me but i must go for it. Alright now... hope ur exams can score well too... All the best!!!

*Sigh... Evferyday i was so busy. I could tell you that i have about eight things to do now. I have 2 projects to be done, 2 cca competition, debate, 2 things that cannot be mentioned, prefects and NE ambassadors. See so many things to be done. And i always reach home abt 6 to 7. Cant revise my work lar. *Sigh... Hope I can be FREE and be a normal students who go to sch, come home to have lunch, do my homework, revise my work and read storybook!!! But... it was impossible. *sigh...

Debate

We have won the first inter-class debate competition last friday!!! So happy. It was my first time taking part in debate competition. At first i was so nervous that i even shake so heavily that i could not even see clearly the cards i holding on. So scary. But i have a long way to go. 5 more competition to beat. And my next debate competition is next monday. Must get prepare!!!

On Friday, 23 of May which is the last day of sch. Our Maths teacher dicided to help out the myanmar victims. We decided to bake cookies, Quiche and muffins to sell to the parents during PTM. We start baking and it was fun. We bake alot of food to sell. About 500 or maybe more. we bring them to sell but within one hour, all were sold. so, we dicided to bake again. This time we bake a bit faster as we had experience. With the last one hr, we sell them all. Before we sell last batch of food, we had earn $700 including the donation. I dunno wat the amt in the end as i went off early before my friend managede to counted finish. Here are some pict.

Recuit Day

On last Friday, some of the sec2 prefects organise the sec 1 recuit day and i help up. I help up in the amazing race. It was so fun. First, we have introduction on themselves. Then, they divided into 4 grp. I was in the 4th grp juz to help them. For the first game, we were given some items to think of a games by using only the items given. Next is the game of the eggdrop. They are suppose to think of an idea to prevent the egg break when drop from second storey to the ground storey. Well... my grp manage to do it. GREAT!!! Then is the amazing race!!! I went to my station which was the classroom and suggested to hide inside the cardboard for them to find (there's enoygh space for me. And it is very easy for them to fin. I noe. juz for fun) But I didnt noe the race had started so i miss the chance. I had hide four number card for them to find two card. They find it and went to the next station which was the feild. Then the next grp came. oi did hide this time but a freind call Freddie found me when the others are still not here. He ran to the classroom so fast and found me. They found the card and the race end. That the end and we give out prizes. I heard that my grp at the feild which was to act and my grp act very well and funny. I really wan to watch. I hope that It will happen again

this day was a busy day. tat's why i was call busy little fruit. haha. ok lets go back to the topic. after sch. i have Annual award ceremony rehersal. Well...it was nice, juz stand there giving the prizes to the VIP. aftre that i have PA duty at AVT1 for the sec 2 subject selection for the NA and the NT. the presentation was long that i miss my speech of subject selection that was in the hall. the presentation end at about 7.50 when bobo and i quickly went to the hall. sadly, it was going to end and i miss the first part of the speech. my parents waere not even there to 'help' me to listen. anyway, i noe wat to do. after the PA duty, i do the prefect duty. After the speech, we prefect put back the chairs, carry the table back to the office and this n that. Then, we have a short breifing on wat we have done on that day. Anyway, we were being praised. haha. I leave sch at 9 and reach home at 10. When i reach home, i bath, do all the nessesary things and jump onto the bed. I was asleep within 3 mins. haha. I was so tired.

Sport Day

Last wk, on wed, The sch juz have sport day at CCK stadium. Like all of u noe, I join three events which are 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay. It was a tiring day when i have to go to 400m race juz after the 200m race. I get 2nd in 400m and 3rd in 200m race. Sadly, when there are 4x100m realy, it started to rain. so the event was cancel. :( Anyway, i still enjoy this day when i get two more trouphy. haha.

Yesterday, some of us went to Science Centre to watch Chemistry here there everywhere. It was interesting with cool experiments! I love it. After this programme, some of us went to have a walk in the Science Cenytre. It was fun in there. It was so long before I went there. We played some of the cool games there. It was so fun. One thing gd is that we dont have to pay any money which is $6.00. Ha ha. If you went there for chemistry progammes and did not go in to check up the cool things, that's too bad cause there are alot of cool and fun things in there. But we do not get to went all arouud the place.

HELP!!! I'm so busy!!!

Amost everyday I have to stay back!!! the last few days, i stay back until so late then go home. On monday, i have detention duty. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, i have prefect rehersal until about 6 to 5.30. And you know what, i have to be there for the detention duty as i am the IC for the even week. So busy!!! Even worse! Now detention duty are using laptop which is more difficult and troublesome! I have to stay back after the duty to update it. And the Exco don't allow us even me, the IC to know the password. So I have to wait for the Exco to come to type in the password. And today no Exco come to type the password and I have to call one sec 3 prefect to type in the password. Now, I am worrying about tmr. tmr i have annual award rehersal and " Chemistry here there everywhere" I have to find a replaceent when i go to either these two and i have not find one! HELP!!! I depressed about this thing. And then I have to decorate the notice board outside the general office for promoting friendship through sport. Have to finish by tmr. See how busy i am! How i hope that i can be free of any other works and be a normal students like some of u out there!!!

My March Holiday...

I was so busy!!! My MArch Holiday is not holiday!!! I have to do my hw on sat and sun. then i went for the leadership camp which was very fun. i love this camp which was held at jurong Jc. we played water games, have mass dance, yummy foods, nice and cold place to sleep and it's creepy... You would not want to noe wat happen there. HA ha!!! Anyway go back to the topic. When i came back from camp. I finish my Hw. on thursday, I finish my art project. On friday, i and my grp went to wan qin house. not to play but to do the maths project and spend a few time on hy project. we spend almost the whole day there finishing up the project. then on sat i do History project. spending the whole day to do hy project but still have not complete. on sun, i fell sick. I recovered at about 3 and read the chinese story book. then, it's sch!!! See how my holiday have gone. it's it worse than yours or wat. for your further info, when i was sick, i still do work!!! So i did not rest. And i keep quiet that i fall ill as my parent will be worry of me. So... How's ur holiday???

My first time to be "reporter"

Today was a stress day. Why? Let me inform you. In the morning, Miss KAvitha asked me to be reporter for today to report about the play during assembly and the scrabble compeition. I even agree and she asked me to find someone else to do with me. So, i found Timothy who wish to be reporter in future. Well, he agree and we prepare the script. The time came when we found out that we had to remember the script. Then we last mins go and remember th script and report the play in front of a video cam. So nervous. It was my first time reporting sth. I almost forget my lines. Later, during my CL lesson, we prepare script for the scrabble compeition. WE remember our script and be ready for the reporting. We missed our maths detention( which is not relly a detention) Timothy was so upset as he cannot go throuht the maths CT. I was so nervous that i forget my lines in the two tries. So scarced when finally it's over. Once we went back for maths, it's over. I was so nervous and scarced. Luckily, tmr is not ours. We just do it for today. Anyway, at least i have a taste of being a reporter.

Hiostory Project outing

Yesterday, some of my group members went to do our history project. We went to take pictures and videos of some resturant that was related to our chosen topics. We went to Beauty world and Ivins Ivins. Luckily, they allowed us to take pic and vidoes of their resturants. Next week, we will do the 'real things' like tasting the foods and interviewing. So excited... The outing was fun and the weather was so hot. There was pictures that will be the clue where we are going. Happy finding...

Finally Common Test are over. But we still can't relax. Still have to work hard and study. Everyday, ihave to stay back so late. Today, i just stay back to paint the school bannars. Until 5 o'clock. Not only staying back, there are history project. we have to do films. We have to go aroung the city and take vidoe. So... do ur group started yet or maybe going to finish??? So busy. After common test, we still have maths quiz during the detention next tuesday. So many things to cope with!!! how i wish that i have time to relax and play!!!
